Reading is Fun!

Do you love to read? 

I do too.

I read books that are red

and books that are blue,

I read books up high 

and books down low,

But when I'm lucky,

A green book is where I go! 

 

Check out my new jacket, 

isn't it great? 

I love it so much, 

I'll wear it each day. 

It's green with big buttons, 

all fancy and gold, 

a soft velvet color 

with a right and left fold. 

If I ever get, 

to be on a screen,

My lucky jacket is perfect, 

You know what I mean? 

Green is invisible 

on the screens of TV 

I hide in plain sight... 

Can you see me? 

 

 

Did you see me? Under the chair? 

Do you see me? Everywhere! 

Blink and I'm gone, 

In a flash of an eye,

If you see me, please say "HI!"

It's Luck... with a truck.... and I'm not stuck!

It's just me, Luck! 

I drove through town in a green truck.

I had a dollar and called it a buck.

I had to be quiet, so I snuck,

I had to be careful, so I didn't get stuck.

I left some tricks behind, so they'd say "Yuck!"

Soon this year's tricks will come to a close,

and I'll tuck in somewhere from my head to my toes. 

Tricky, Tricky, Tricky!

 

I'm taking a journey from here to there, 

look for me, 

I'm everywhere. 

No green in sight, 

I'm on the hunt. 

I'm hungry for leprechaun pizza 

and having fun! 

You'll never see me,

in the day,

I only show up,

While you're away!

Travels Ahead

Do you like to travel? I sure do.  I love to travel because I enjoy seeing new places and learning about new foods. When I travel, I love to find cozy places to sleep and rest my head.  I might just share some of my travel adventures here when I go visit a few places soon.

My favorite things about traveling are looking for places to climb, places to sleep, and sometimes I even bring my little Ladybug Lucinda along. She can leave footprints at time... lots of tiny black dots that leave a little trail.  Have you ever spotted ladybug footprints?

A New Pet

I got a new pet.  It is a lady bug named Lucinda.  Lucinda is really big.  I can walk her on a leash.  Lucinda eats green leaves.  I love that Lucinda likes green things, too.  We are best friends.
